1. Who we are

tiqi is a travel planning and booking service operated by TravelDesk, a UAE-based travel business with its back office in Dubai. References to “tiqi”, “we”, “us”, or “our” in these terms mean the operator of the tiqi service.

2. The tiqi service

tiqi helps you plan itineraries and book tours, activities, and attraction tickets in the United Arab Emirates. The experiences you book through tiqi are provided by third-party tour operators and venues. tiqi facilitates the booking on your behalf; the experience itself is delivered by the operator named on your booking confirmation.

Parts of the tiqi planning experience are generated with the help of AI. Suggestions are provided for convenience and may occasionally be inaccurate or out of date, so please double-check important details such as schedules, meeting points, and entry requirements on your booking confirmation.

3. Bookings

A booking is confirmed once you receive a booking confirmation or voucher from us. You are responsible for providing accurate traveller details and for reviewing the details of each experience before you book, including dates, times, pick-up arrangements, and any age, health, or safety requirements set by the operator.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown before you confirm a booking and cover the items described at checkout. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, our third-party payment processor; tiqi does not store your full card details. Your card issuer may apply its own fees or currency conversion rates.

5. Cancellations and changes

Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund conditions are set by the tour operator providing your experience and may vary between experiences. Some experiences may be non-refundable. If you need to change or cancel a booking, contact us as early as possible and we will work with the operator on your behalf.

6. Your responsibilities

You agree to use tiqi only for lawful purposes, to provide accurate information, and to follow the rules and instructions of the operators and venues you visit. You are responsible for ensuring that you and your travel companions hold any documents required for your trip.

7. Liability

tiqi facilitates bookings with independent tour operators and is not the provider of the experiences themselves. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of tour operators, venues, or other third parties, and the tiqi service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, and the date above shows when it was last revised. Continued use of tiqi after an update means you accept the revised terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates.
